Hi! I live in AZ so I am used to it being hot... But I have never been in humidity. How is it in Oct. usually in Florida? Will it be hot enough to do a waterpark? Thanks!

Coming from AZ, you might think it's chilly! Coming from Minnesota, my two November trips to FL have felt nice and warm. :) It's all relative!

That being said, when we were there in November 2011, Wet & Wild was hopping... so apparently quite a few people did feel that it was warm enough for a water park!

I've never visited the pool or anything during either of the November trips I've made, but I do recall some days being in the low 80s by the afternoon.

I have been in October several times and during the day, it has been warm enough to go to a water park (although we never have). Sometimes it has been a ::yes::bit crisp in the early morning and late at night, but I'm from NY and so it feels good to me compared with home that time of the year. Hope that helps.

weather is much better in orlando during october than it is back home!

been going in october yearly since 1999.

We are going HHN Oct. 16th. How are the temps generally at night? Shorts or pants at night? Sweatshirts or tees? :confused3

Florida weather in October is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get! ;)

We've been to Orlando a few times in October. Once or twice it's been cool enough that my wife purchased a sweatshirt to wear. Other times, it's been very hot.
The same goes with precipitation: sometimes it's dry, and sometimes it's very wet (like last year).

I'm hoping the last week of October is warm enough to get drenched on the Blutos ride.

As time gets closer to your trip --- Just google 5 or 10 day Forecast for Orlando , Fl. will give ya an idea ... Have a great time we also go in Oct 18 19 20 21 .2013 :littleangel:
We can't wait ---- We're 1 st timer's ...

Two website to check for Orlando weather is wesh.com (local NBC station) and wftv.com (local ABC station).

When we were at Disney on December 3-8, 2012 it was hot...March 11-15, 2013 it was cold. In October you can count on the temps being between 40 and 90...seriously. It's also still hurricane season. Check the forecast 5 days out and then keep checking it, because it will change. Good luck. :)

Early October it can easily be 85-90+ degrees, most likely at least 80's during the day,at night it cools down a little more than during August or September and humidity is a bit lower but overall it's still plenty hot for a waterpark.Around mid October is when the first cold fronts start coming through and those 80's and 90's could drop to 60's and 70's with lows possibly around 50-55.A day or two after the cold front has passed it'll be back to 85-90 degrees.Basically it's still more than a hot enough month for waterparks unless you get a cold front, for people coming from colder climates even after a cold front comes through and highs are 65-75, with the clear skies and sunny days cold fronts bring those people would probably still be very comfortable at a waterpark.

Thanks so much everyone!! So it looks like I need to plan for possible cooler weather and/ or hot:) hopefully it will be warm enough to do aquatica for a day. We will see!!

So what I'm getting is it will be either colder or hot.....looks like I'll be packing for both. I refuse to pay for a second suitcase. A little this and a little that...we'll make do. Would be great if it was written in stone. Such is traveling. We'll have a good time either way. Happy Trails.:)

Typically, it will be warmer than cooler, so plan on shorts and tshirt. But be prepared to change to cooler weather clothing, depending upon the forecast as you get closer to your travel date.
