FW is our favorite destination and the only place that we'll stay. After all, getting there is half the fun,right
Our current rig is a 38 ft Cedar Creek fith wheel. Its got all the comforts of home and on the road, it is our home, so we figured lets go for it.
We pulled it with a Ford f-350 crew cab dually but now have stepped up to a Volvo ten wheel tractor. Its got bunk beds, a frig/freezer, tv .. I guess its like having a mini motorhome. It gets better gas mileage than the dually did and everyone loves driving in it. Now if we can just get back to WDW.

WE have a new 45' motorcoach. It has 4 slides. this is my secound motorcoach. We upgraded form a popup which I loved in 2001. Go Camping.

We have a 2002 34' Fifth Wheel with 3 slides that we pull with a 2004 F350 Diesel Crew-Cab Dually. We absolutely love travelling with the Fifth Wheel but we are going to be selling both of them after our May trip to WDW. We were also at the Raleigh RV show last weekend and have decided to purchase a Motorcoach. Nothing fancy, it will definately be on the low end of the price scale - - - no Newell for us.

We are going to be full-time RVing when I retire in the near future and we want the added versatility that comes with a motorhome. Anybody wanta buy a Fifth Wheel and/or truck??

We have a '98 Damon Hornet 27' travel trailer. We pull it with our '04 Chevy Duramax Diesel Crew Cab pickup. Just myself, DH and DS (3) so plenty of room

This has been fun reading. Our current set up (also for sale) is a 28 ft prowler 5th wheel with a couch/dinette slide, a queen in front and a single set of bunks in the back. We are towing with a 1992 F350 crew cab. When baby #3 arrived in Oct we decided to upgrade both the truck and trailer. We might sound spoiled but we were starting to feel a little crowded with DD7, DS2, our 100lb Akita and all the baby/toddler gear we drag with us . The days of loading up our tank bags and taking off on our motorcycles are so long gone .
We are now looking at a Crossroads Cruiser CF30QB. It has quad bunks in a separate room and 2 slides. We are also looking for a newer F350 crew cab diesel dually. rapriebe I'll send you a PM. We are planning to go out west for a few weeks this Summer and the extra space in the camper will be great!

I have to hide this post from husband!! He tried using the fuel mileage angle as a reason to get a bigger 5th wheel hauler, but the numbers just wouldn't work!!

They're not as expensive as people think they are. A lot more safer to tow and at the end of the day its less stressful. Insurance is the same but I don't use it as a daily driver. I was gonna keep the dually also but its time to sell that now. Wife puts a limit on the toys
This is a cool post, its fun reading about everyones rigs. Like everyone else, we started off small and as the family grew so did the camper.

Hello we have a 30 ft. Dutchmen bunkhouse in back with queen bedroom in front. We have 2 boys 12 & 14. 14 year old is almost 6 ft. so bunk isn't working to well so couch gets pulled out. We camp all summer and LOVE camping but have been trying to get husband to take trailer to Fort Wilderness said it's cheaper to get a room. O sorry we have a new F-250 v10 gas engine pulling trailer we get about 11 miles a gallon. Sure do wish we could talk him into going camping to the Fort.

We have a 96 Four Winds 29' QB Class C Ford, no slides. Paid in full. DD-almost 13 wants to bring friends along, and is also complaining that she is too tall for the "loft". So off we went to the Valley Forge RV show last weekend. DH was amazed (in a good way) at the prices for TTs and even 5ws. So this post has been an education for me in terms of what you need to pull with.

We were looking at 30'-31' TTs with rear bunks - found a Hornet (?) with bunks and a fold-out sofa that was DDs delight. Probably not this year - hubby needs a vehicle first and so that might be the tow rig. But next year..... who knows?

We have a 23 1/2 foot Class C, Lazy Daze. Husband and I, plus our daughter, age 12 (the older girls have moved out), and our dog. No slides and we don't tow.

Something to mention-we were at Fort Wilderness this past summer. Our fifth day there I took Lucy (our dog) out for her morning walk. As she was leaping back into the RV, her skin caught the screen door. A HUGE amount of skin was ripped (she is a greyhound and her skin is stretched pretty tightly). Anyway, this was about 6:30am in the morning. I fished around, phoned a vet, my husband unhooked faster than I ever thought possible, and within thirty minutes Lucy was being operated on. The vet said she stopped counting stitches after 100! We were really lucky-a fantastic vet-South Orlando Animal Hospital- that I would recommend to anyone.

I learned two things-take ALL of your dog records with you when you travel, which we were lucky to have. The vet said that this was a reason she could get Lucy on the operating table so quickly, and always shave the sharp points off your screen door.

Currently we have a 2004 29' Artic Fox 5th wheel. Two slides. Pulled by a 2005 Dodge 3500 quad cab with the cumins turbo diesel(real trucks rattle). Pulls like a dream.

We have a 36' 2001 Signature fifth wheel with 3 slides. It has all the comforts of home. We don't use it to much anymore. We try to go to the Fort at least once or twice a year.
We pull it with a 1999 F-350 diesel dually king cab.

I spend more time tent camping anymore than I do RV camping.. I tent camp once a month with my son (he is a cub scout). I do enjoy it though!

We are going to go to Lazy Days and hopefully trade it in for a "USED" at least 36' motorhome with at least one slide. Nothing trashy but nothing to highline. We just want to be able to take it to the NASCAR races.

We have a 2006 30' fifth wheel Cruiser Cross Force by Crossroads. It's a toyhauler with one slide out. My husband the expert on the details. We bought it because we like to go ATV riding. However, I can't wait to go camping at WDW in it!

We have a 2003 (I think, it may be 2004) 32 ft. Coachman Chaparrell.
It has an enclosed bedroom with bunks for the boys in back, kit/living area with slideout, bath, and our bedroom. We haul it with a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 cumins/diesel. This will be our first trip to Disney with both. All the other times we've been in a pop up.

It is garage kept and babied so it still looks and acts new We've got heat/AC/cable and a coffee pot for "hot water" Oh and my DH even gave me a POTTY for mother's day one year! I thinkhe felt sorry for me wandering to the bathhouse in the middle of the night I guess. Best Part though is that HE cleans it! That makes up for the mother's day potty gift
I go to the RV show every year. Look at all the new rigs too! I just don't want anything else. Mine is paid for and I love it and can handle it all by my self. Yeah, we cheat too.. if we can't get it backed into the right place we unhitch and ROLL! Can't do that with a 5th wheel

Thanks for checking in--I was feeling a lonely. You got a potty for Mother's Day? Lucky! I got a cat box--not kidding. DH had a brilliant idea--fill a bucket with cat iltter, set it under the step. If we need to "go" at night--voila! Cat Box!

I feel like we have the K-Mart blue light special on these boards...lol A 1984 Coleman pop-up opens up to 22 feet with a king size bed, and yes it still rolls! Actually it's not too bad, especially for the money. We bought a portable air conditioner to take with us in June, so at least we won't be sweating all day. Has all the goodies and they work too...amazing! We tow with a full size conversion van. After tenting for many years, it feels like a palace...lol
