Tell me your favorite magical thing in Hogsmeade and or Diagon Alley

Hi!! I'm not the huge Harry Potter fan but my daughter is. I am looking for things to point out to her that will amaze her. I know about the interactive wands (do they come with a map?) But what I am thinking is things most tourists just don't take the time to notice. I heard their is a phone booth if you dial MAGIC you get the ministry of magic, so things like that. What is your favorite magic in Harry Potter?? Thank you very much!!!

Yes they come with a map. (and if you get out to Universal Hollywood you can bring your Orlando wand and ask them for a map of Hogsmeade there and they'll give you one)

FWIW in Wizarding World there are many tourists noticing EVERY little thing that you want to see.

Yes, there was a long line for the phone booth- most people just asking what does it do and getting in line.

some of my girls favorites were Kreacher the house elf peaking out the window in London (outside Diagonal Alley), hearing moaning Myrtle in the Hogsmeade bathroom, and hearing the chirping bird in the vanishing cabinet in Borgin & Burkes in Knockturn Alley.

My son spent three hours in Knockturn Alley (and it's pretty small) playing with his interactive wand. There's lots of cool things in there to play with.

The Mandrake roots in one of the windows in Hogsmeade. I watched them for ten minutes until their cat - like cries finally got to me. Something about a plant that cries like a cat....

YES! Also Celestina Warbeck and her Banshees are FABULOUS. Always make a point of seeing this performance. "You stole my cauldron but you can't steal my heart."
