Tell me what you can about Disney Visa reward booking

We just got approved for the card. Not having it before, I haven't paid attention to when room discounts are offered and how to go about booking them. Do you book through Disney or the card company? Does the card company inform you of discounts on their site or how do you find out about them. We are going to WDW in mid January. Thanks.

You book through Disney. Occasionally general offers are released to card holders a few days early but you'll need to be on the lookout as they are not always quick in alerting you by email. It will be posted on disneyrewards.com
