Tell me something I DONT know

I was homecoming queen in my senior year of high school. princess:

When Dh and I were married 7 years ago (yesterday), our children made up our wedding party: his son was his best man at age 3 yrs 10mos, my oldest ds gave me away at age 11 yrs 10 mos, dd was my maid of honor at age 9 1/2, and ds was the ring bearer at age 6 years 10 mos. :groom: :bride: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy:

I have a Donny Osmond pillowcase I got back in 1973. Not sure why I still have it, but won't give it up. I haven't used it in 30 years and it is faded some. Wonder if I can sell it for big bucks on ebay???

On Broadway? If so, do you know Lea DeLaria?

As for me, I gave birth to an 11 pound baby.

Uh, no! More like at our local cinema in front of the movie :p I was part of the live cast.

This isn't directly about me, but close enough. My mom's cousin owns a restaurant here, which is where Derek Jeter's mother is from. When Derek was small, his mom was a waitress in the restaurant, and my grandmother used to babysit him. I'm still planning on going to Yankee Stadium with a sign one day that says "Derek, my grandmother used to babysit you." I also played baseball with him at a barbecue once when I was around 5....if only I knew then what I know now :)

I graduated 2nd in my nursing school class and was class vice president and I have a sore throat. I like to wear my DH's socks to bed. Also, I am eating halloween candy.... AGAIN.
Now you know. :wave2:

Binny, I think I've told you everything!:teeth: How about, my dad is a retired h.s. teacher and he taught dh in 10th grade, I was in 5th grade at the time!:p

DH tried to trade me for a camel in Fez, Morocco. I didn't think his joke was too funny when the local shopkeeper started in on "serious" negotiationg.

The first and only time I went parasailing was in tandem with my ex-DH; I threw up in mid-air after about 30 seconds.

I had never been stung by a bee until I was 28 and stepped on one coming out of my front door - it was awful!

I have a "thing" about brushing my teeth too often. Sometimes I'll even get up in the middle of the night to do it because I just hate that yucky pasty mouth feel.

The first concert I ever went to was John Cougar Mellencamp - I was 26 and pregnant with my first child! (over-protective parents!)

when I was in the Army I joined the post theater group in Munich Germany. We did Agatha Christie's 10 Little Indians. I played the butler (#3 to get killed) "Chopping sticks and then there were six"

My big line was "Oh my God" after learning that #2 had just been killed. After our last performance we had a cast picnic to celebrate and our directior gave us all special awards for our perforamnces. I was awarded the "Best line that nobody ever heard" award.

Yeah, wasn't there a theater in Lowell that would show it all the time??

Though I'm a Philly girl at heart, I was born in Miami Beach, FL

The tv show 20/20 did a story at my high school and I got on camera.

I have a collection of old photos that date as far back as 1862.

Hmm...

I was accepted to Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and L'ecole de Beaux Artes in France to study fashion but chickened out and went to study International Relations instead.

I drove from Texas to Cleveland, OH by myself on Christmas Eve and got a flat tire at 9:00pm and had to spend christmas day all by myself in a motel 6 in Texarkana.

I've eaten dog, alligator, snake & goat's privates

I was 12 when I ate my first piece of beef. Before that, the only red meat I'd ever eaten was venison.

;) nothing that exciting. When I was pregnant my high risk dr was the medical expert on the Ananda Lewis show about multiples. So I went on the show and then, they came to the hospital and taped my sonogram.

Injured my vocal cords while giving birth - the ones on the left are frozen - forever - so they tell me. I will probably never be able to carry a tune - I would say again - but I couldn't sing before it happened either.

I got voted the girl with the best legs in high school! (and that's saying something, since we weren't allowed to wear shorts, skorts or anything above the knee, back in the 60's!) ;)
