What an interesting group Things you don't know about me.....I'm Chair of my town's Democratic Town Committee- I never post on the political threads because I come here to relax I speak Spanish, I own well over 200 prs of shoes- too many to count ( I never met a shoe I didn't like) , my grandfather was a foundling, and was left on the doorstep of a convent in Italy at Christmas time, and my favorite types of music are rap and R & B- my kids friends can't believe my cd collection!

I "had" to have my picture taken w/ Santa every year until I was 30 to "make my mother happy". I would always go to the old strip malls at wierd times to try and make sure no one I knew saw me doing this. Luckily, when I was pregnant w/ DD and got the flu (before flu shots!) mom didn't "insist" on me doing it that year and I haven't done it since. No wonder I have issues w/ my mom! LOL!!

I played Nellie Forbush in my high school production of South Pacific. The director rigged a shower on stage and I literally had to "wash that man right out of my hair" on stage!


I married my accounting t.a. from college. He gave me a B in the class.

In high school I was very into grunge music and wore flannels everyday - even during the summer, and I live in St. Louis!

I was Editor-n-Chief of my high school paper and was the Political Editorial Columinst for 3 years. My senior year I was in the princpal's office almost every week due to my column which generally had to do with the school board.

I was a theater lighting designer in college and for several years after college.

I was a national spelling bee champion.

My wife and I dated for 6 months in high school, broke up for 9 years, then got back together and got married a year later (12 years ago).
