I wouldn't pay for preferred. Some rooms are closer, but nothing is really that far.
We'll have a car, but I was wondering: is it faster to go to some parks by bus? And what it is like driving to the parks? Do you have to take a tram to get to the gate or can you just walk it?
The only times that we thought the car was much faster then the bus was when going to the water parks and MK during MNSSHPThe lines for the bus to get back to POP were horrible
It took 5 busses before we got on... wished we had a car that night
Oh nooo,,, both me and DD15 have long hair,, I'm not too bothered about drying my hair as I tie it up mostly especially when the weather is hot, but DD is VERY fussy as far as her hair is concerned,, we are still at logger heads about the straighteners,, she really wants to take them, but as they need such a high wattage I would have to buy a heavy duty voltage converter which would cost the equivalent of $80, and it weighs over 3kg,, which is not good when we are only allowed to take 20kg of baggage each from the UK for a 15 stay... I would claim ignorance about the strength of the hairdryers, but I don't know if I can put up with 2 weeks of complaining once we get there,,,, dilemmas, dilemmas
Perhaps we should start up a hairdryer swap lol
Thanks for that posting, I have been really worried about having to walk too far from classic hall to our room, anyway you have convinced me to go with preferred,,, I have just telephoned my TA and upgraded and it only cost me an extra £40 for a 14 night stay!!! Well worth the money if it means I don't have to walk to farDon't have my room number from the 50's where we stayed, but it was in the boonies and I beg to differ. It WAS really that far. I read the posts that said don't worry and believed them. For my upcoming stay we are going preferred. There is no way I will be out in the sticks again.
WOW really??? I am speechless, how wonderful that you would like to do that for usWe will be going to POP for 2 nights starting August 24th before moving over to SSR. My duaughters and I love to spread the pixie dust when at WDW, so we would be glad to buy you a new hair dryer and leave it at POP front desk for you. This way you won't have to go Wal-Mart! I think you arrive right after us. Just let me know if you would like us to do this for your daughter!![]()

This will be our first trip to Pop and we're really excited. We aren't in a preferred room but were told that the 50s and 70s rooms weren't that far of a walk. Can anyone confirm? I've ready so many reviews and most indicate that nothing is that far. Thanks everyone!
