I was thinking of going here for our upcoming trip. We always go to the same places because they are our favorites. I would like to try some place new this time.TIA:)

We ate there in May for dinner. I had a great steak with very tasty vegetables on the side. Can't remember what DH had, but I do remember he liked his meal there as well. This is one of the least "themed" restaurants on Disney property (in my opinion) and sometimes that's sort of what you want. It's nicely decorated but it's very low-key. It's also kind of dark in there, at least for dinner, so it's a more subdued atmosphere. There's also a sustainability/green aspect to the selections there as well, and I do remember the odd detail that the straws for the drinks there were paper instead of plastic. I also found the portion sizes there to be more of a "real world" size rather than "Disney size", though it was more than enough to fill me up. We had a good time there, and it's convenient to get to if you're staying at any of the monorail resorts or are coming from the MK.

Oh, I don't know if you're taking any children with you but the children's menu here is a little different from the standard one at most of the other restaurants. Take a look at it on the WDW site or allears.net to see if any kiddos you'd be taking would be happy with the selections there. I thought it was nice to get her something different than she'd been eating at our other meals, but if you have a child who really only wants mac & cheese or something specific like that, they may not have it.

Have a good trip!

We ate there in Feb 2009. We really enjoyed it. I had the beef tenderloin and DH had the chicken pot pie. Both were pretty good. They also let me have a choclate milkshake as my drink and we were on the dining plan.:thumbsup2 PP is correct about the kids menu. My kids were glad to have something different. One of them had the chicken strips which looked better(at least to me) than the usual processed chicken fingers. They were slighty breaded and looked more like they were freshly breaded like something you would make at home. My DS had the grilled fish which when we were there was mahi-mahi. They both enjoyed and completely finished their meals. We also enjoyed the trio desserts. All in all, it was a good meal and the atmosphere was subdued compared to most restaurants. It felt fancy and after just coming from the park I felt a little underdressed. Not compared to the others eating there just the atmosphere in the restaurant. If I had been at home and went to restaurant decorated so nicely, I would definitely have been dressed nicer. We are going there again in Dec. so we definitely liked it.

the wave is my new fav.....we've gone there multiple times for dinner.....and have enjoyed it every time.

I ate there in May and I loved it. There are a lot of healthy choices if that is something you care about. I had the tuna and also had a blackbean soup as an appatizer that was great. I believe you can order standard kid fare off menu, but check with the host/hostess to confirm.

My BIL/SIL just ate their last week with their DS (8) and DS (6). They all LOVED it. She raved about the food and atmosphere and said they would return in a heartbeat.

The Wave is 1 TS. Will be having dinner there on Wednesday night, I hope.

We have eaten there twice and really like it. My favorite things are the bread and mega berry smoothie.
