Hello,
Well I took the plunge and purchased the Phil and Ted Sport stroller. I am expecting my 2nd in 4 weeks and I have a 3 1/2 year old. I was looking for something that my older child could ride in when he gets tired of walking. Please let me know how much you either like or dislike this stroller. Thanks

I have the older version, my ds is 3.5 also. I like it, it's great on our uneven sidewalks around the neighborhood. Good "off-road" when we went to Longwood Gardens. My son likes it a lot. It's just a bit awkward to fold and it is heavy, takes up a fair amount of room, but that's a bigger stroller for ya. Sadly, can't comment on using it for two as I haven't been able to have another so far... I don't even know what is different about the next gen model, but I'm sure it's good.
Enjoy!!
PS-I would skip the fannypack/organizer thing, check out some of the others on the market like the carry you organizers. The pannier bags are good though.

We *LOVE* ours. It is THE only stroller I have found that can tote 2 kids and is the size of a single stroller. At first, none of my kids wanted to sit in the bottom (except the youngest who cant really protest yet LOL) but now they all FIGHT to get into the bottom. They all want to be in the bottom seat LOL. It does take a bit of time to fold compared to our Orbit Baby single stroller but its okay. I could also fit the Orbit Baby infant carseat on the top seat perfectly, I loved that until my baby outgrew the infant seat LOL. The fannypack type organizer that is an accessory for it, ugh I hate that, it really serves no purpose, there are better ones out there. The only other thing I can say bad about it is that to get to the diaperbag when 2 are in the stroller can be a PITA but it's worth it for the fact that I can push 2 kids in the size of a single stroller LOL

Love, love love mine! I recommend it to everyone. With my first baby I got a POS Graco travel system that fell apart. Nothing compares to the Phil & Ted. I took mine to Disney in February and looking forward to it again next February!

I LOOOOOOOVE ours. I'm selling my Maclaren Twin Techno after our trip because the P&T's is SO much better- more versatile, easier to access storage when kids are in it, weighs less, narrower, etc). I don't know why I didn't invest in this from the start (my first DD HATED being worn so strollers have always been handy around here, jogging ones especially because we live in the country). The P&T's is every stroller I've gone through in one! (the travel system, the Mac twin, the single jogger, etc) I have the BOB console with cupholders, and that's super handy, as well as the backpack for the handlebar and one pannier bag. I don't really use the pannier bag though. We also have the bug/sun cover but never really use it.

My girls are 2.5 and 2 months, btw.

We have the Sport Buggy....I guess it is the 2007 version. We got it when DD#1 just turned 3 and DD#2 was 2 months old (they are now 4.5 and 17 months old). So we've been using it for about a year and three months.

We really love ours! There's not many cons to it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that it is the size of a single stroller. It can fit anywhere. Department stores are the worst about accomodating strollers. And this one can fit through the clothing racks!

It is very well made, glides effortlessly (actually, you have to watch the thing because it keeps rolling after you've stopped LOL!), and very comfy for the kiddos.

We've even taken it to Disney before. It is a bit bulky to get on the bus/tram....but it can be done with fairly easily.

Hmmm...the only cons I can think of are as follows:
The sun shade doesnt provide much coverage. I wish you could move it back and forth like on some strollers.

No cup holder/parent tray....but this can be purchased. We just havent done it.

Watch your fingers!!! Seriously, this thing can pinch the living heck out of your finger. I actually read somewhere about a lady's finger being severed by it, and I honestly believe it. I got my finger good one time....it hurt so bad that I was nearly in tears. But this poses no danger to the children....it is only when the parent is folding/unfolding it. If you watch your fingers, you are fine. I will never make that mistake again.

Make sure the child in the front seat does not randomly decide to get out, as my 4 year old sometimes does. It can possibly tip backwards depending on how heavy the child in the backseat is. My DD in the back has not reached a weight that has caused it to tip yet (she's about 22 pounds), but she's probably getting close.

Other than those issues, we love ours. But those issues would not stop me from purchasing it again.

I'm glad to hear that you guys like this stroller. Personally I have no experience with it but every time i see it I think "that poor kid on the bottom" ;)

I used to think the same thing. But my daughter FIGHTS for the bottom seat!!! And so do the children of everyone else the I know IRL that has a P&T's!! I think it's because it's something "different", ya know? But also, we use it with the seat up top a lot too since my new little one is still pretty tiny, and DD would rather be sitting on the bottom. :goodvibes

Yep, I used to think the same thing and in the beginning, my big kids HATED the bottom but then after one decided he liked it, they all fight to get in the bottom lol

I'm debating on whether to take ours on our trip in 3 weeks. AHH!

What do you do if they both want to sleep??? That's my only concern. WIth a side by side they could both recline? but that doesn't seem possible in my P&T.

Also, does anyone know the weight limit on laying it down for the infant? I figure if one wanted to sleep, I could lay them down there and put the 2nd seat up on top.

My kids have no problem sleeping in them sitting up LOL.. They can sleep anywhere though and are so tired at Disney they could pass out standing in line.

I have the Sport Buggy, so both seats recline. The front reclines more than the back, but the back still reclines enough to comfortably sleep. That was my stipulation with a stroller.....I wanted one where both seats reclined.
