Tell me all about Kona Cafe

We ate at Kona once 2 years ago. We really liked the food and atmosphere. No problems and no complaints. Our waitress was friendly and quick to serve. So, can't say anything against Kona. Oh, we ate lunch, not dinner.
I think it must be hit or miss according to the OP on here, but that is true of a lot of places. You just have to try it for yourself.

For example, we were told that Mama Melrose's was slow with bad food. We went reluctantly as part of a fantasmic dinner package. It was the only restaurant left. Well, the food was really tasty and the service was great, both times we have been there. Don't know what those other people were talking about. We also tried the Coral Reef in Epcot, and we found that the food was awful, the place was so loud that the waitresses had to shout to be heard, and it smelled. So, never going back there! It's all relative.

We like Kona for dinner. If they would let you we would just go there and eat the bread.:)

We haven't been to Kona in years, but it is on the list for our upcoming trip. They still have my very favorite salad on the menu, I love the dressing!

We ate there for dinner before. Loved the salmon and the bread. (I don't remember dessert which is kind of shocking to me since we definitely had some because we were on the dinning plan that trip so it must of been ok)
