Tell me all about GF lagoon view

We had two separate lagoon view rooms at GF this July. FIrst was Big Pine Key, 1st floor. Second was Sago Cay third floor. ALthough both were nice and you could see the fireworks we really liked the Sago Cay much better. It was a direct view of the castle and you could lie in bed and watch the castle change colors!

GF rooms are roomy and decorated nicely. We prefer the "quiet pool" but themed pool is good also. MK is the first stop on the monorail after GF and on the way back we would take the ferry since it was the first stop then. HTH.

We had a nice view from our Lagoonview room in Boch Chica. Good location, close to the quiet pool, and not too far from the main building and Gasparilla's.
Each morning I would sit out on the balcony and I could hear the music from the MK and the howling dog from the Haunted Mansion. We could see the CR, WL and the Poly. I loved watching the monorail go through the CR.
The whole experience was sooo relaxing, I would love to stay at the GF again.
Each time I go in December I make sure I go to see the holiday decorations, the ginger bread house is so neat, and the Christmas tree is beautiful.

Ditto the above posters. We have been in BIg Pine (dormer room ,view of the Poly) and Boca Chica (2nd floor, castle view). Both were wonderful viesw, but it's hard to beat a view of the castle with it's ever changing colors and watching Wishes from your balcony each night. Plus you can take the monorail to MK (1st stop) and take a boat back (again, first stop). It's great.
