Tell me about your concierge planner

I just received my itinerary email from my concierge planner (yay!) and this is the first time that we've gone thru this process. So, I was wondering, who did you have assisting you, and how would you rate how helpful, thorough, etc they were, and what exactly you had them plan, anything other that advanced ressies? Thanks for any input!

We stayed concieerge at Beach Club last year. Amy was the person who assited us and she was wonderful! It was my 40th birthday and she really just went beyond.....my DH had requested a "gift basket", which he payed for.....a t-shirt and various other cute items....but on top of that, every day there was something new......one night it was a6" solid whited chocolate "Mickey" surrounded by 6 "tuxedoed" strawberries. Another day it was autographed phots of Cinderella and Minnie. Another day it was an unusual chocolate "painting" of the Beach Club......on top of that she made reservations for us and fill us in ahead of time on everything that was happening that we might like. The food offerings that you get at the "concierge level" are nice and convenient, but not the best food i have ever had. The staff, especially, Amy were unbelievable!

I talked to I believe it was Kristen today and she is AWESOME! She got me a wishes fireworks cruise (which I had NOT been able to manage!!!) as well as put in a request to have a brithday cake that was gluten free and corn free there upon our arrival!!! She also has them picking us up at the Poly marina versus the GF marina as we are going to the Laua that night!!!

You're staying at BC right? Then you'll have the team of Alana, Amy, Angie and Lauren. Even though you might speak to one person in particular, they all work together to make your vacation special. I had the pleasure of working with this team for our YC trip this past December. They secured an Illuminations cruise, took care of all my dining reservations, tours, transportation arrangments and even made some park purchases for me. I shipped down a small Christmas tree to them a few days before we arrived and they it set up in our room with all the gifts underneath. We had a problem with our room upon arrival and the on site staff was reluctant to accomodate us. I only had to make one phone call to the pre-planning department and within 5 minutes, Alana had the situation resolved. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give all the girls in that department a 10 :thewave:

We are staying concierge @ AKL in 15 days and the entire staff has been wonderful!! So far I've dealt with Don,Sue,Andrea and Jack.they were able to book the Breathless for an Illuminations cruise as a surprise for DH and just not having to deal with the hassle of 7am ADR calls was wonderful.Think DH will be hooked on Concierge service after this trip!!

Thanks for all the info! yes, we'll be staying at the Beach Club, and so far everyone's been helpful. Its still a little early for them to book our ADR, but they have everything lined up. Thanks! Looking forward to the concierge experience and all their help. Any ideas on something special I could have them put in our room for our DDs and my DH?
