I have read a few reviews about a "counter service" for Yak & Yeti. I didn't know there was one. I can't find a menu for it. The menu for the table service looks great. DH and I will be going in February and I'd like to eat there. We will have the our toddler with us, so I was thinking a quick counter service might be better.

Do they serve the same menu as the table service?

Is there inside seating for counter service?

thanks!

We just returned from a week at the World and ate Yak N Yeti counter service. Tables were outside. Food was very good. I don't know what the sit down menu had but there were many choices on the counter service menu. I had a Chinese chicken salad and some eggrolls and I thought they were very good. DH had some chicken and rice dish and also liked it very much.

The menus for the inside (full service) and outside (counter service) differ. The full service menu has a greater variety of choices.

Is the crispy honey chicken the same? Anyone?

Look for the menu under Anandupur Local Food Cafes.

Thanks! That is what I needed! It didn't occur to me that the CS location might have its own name, not Yak & Yeti Counters service! duh

I like the menu for the TS better. I could go for Fried green beans and the fried wonton dessert and be in heaven.

My DD had her heart set on eating a Yak and Yeti. Most of our party was going to pizzasafari but wanted to please everyone so I took her there. She loves chinese food and particularly honey chicken and lo mein. Well, the honey chicken was horrible. By that I mean that there wasn't a teaspoon of sauce in the whole container. The portion was fine. I had ordered an adult meal to share. Maybe 6 or 7 pieces of dry chicken then a few strands of broccolli and two or three inches of rice. It was completely tasteless. The mall food court chinese is 100 times better and I don't think that is great either. We actually threw it away and ordered pizza from Pizzafari. I still have hopes for the TS restaruant but I would skip the CS. FWIW the chinese food at Sunshine Seasons was pretty nasty too. We declared no more CS chinese food.

We liked the CS and thought it was really good compared to any other in the park. Here is the menu if you can see it. We went opening day.

The eggrolls/chicken fried rice and lomein were very good.

We ate the TS and loved it. My 2 toddlers love rice so we just ordered a side of rice for them. My husband ate the honey chicken and I ate the sweet and sour pork. Both were huge portions and very yummy. I thought the CS looked kind of gross because they kind of shoved it into a take out box, yet the TS had it spread out on the plate. Not to mention we got to escape from the cool cloudy day. And if you drink water, you drink that for free therefore saving a little bit of money from buying a bottled water.

I must admit I am a little nervous about our ADR for Y&Y for our upcoming trip. So many mixed reviews. I guess this will be a judge for yourself occasion.

We thought the counter service was excellent. Our party tried one of everything and it was all very good.

I would have to agree with you. I thought the food at the CS was mall quality at best. I was wondering if the food inside was better because DH is set on eating there next trip.
