I got a late start to planning and making ADR's. I needed an Epcot Resort / Boardwalk restaurant for dinner and all that was available for my timeframe was Yacht Club Galley.

If you've dined there, tell me all about it. Any recommendations?

Wellll......

I had one of the best meals I've ever had at WDW there about 14 months ago. Then about six months ago, after I had raved about teh place, DH and I went for dinner there. The menu had changed, adn the delicious items I had the previous visit were gone.

Don't get me wrong, we had a good meal, but we were both really disappointed because it wasn't an incredible meal. That said, I'd have no problem dining there again.

We ate there in September and I really liked it. We had eaten there in 2004 and had a great unexpected lunch one day while staying at YC. I think I had a crabcake sandwich and I believe my brother had a cheeseburger. He loved his burger and my sandwich was devine. They have a great bartender there too. Man I wish I could remember his name. He recalled us eating there a YEAR before and even remembered that my brother liked a certain brand of scotch they serve there. I seem to think Oscar may have been his name but I can't remember. We aren't eating here next trip but will definitley stop by for a drink.

Over the past 10 year I have eaten here a couple times for breakfast and once for dinner and it was always fine. Notheing spectacular. This December we were looking for a quiet and not te expensive place to eat so I thought we could try Yacht Club Galley. It was quiet but not very inexpensive but it was also one of the best meals we had on out trip. Everyone loved the food (though the ceasar salad had too much dressing. I had the pork and it was great. Service was very good as well and the desserts were wonderful.

We had a fantastic lunch there on our last visit to BWI. We were waiting for our room to be ready and I had read some really good reviews on YCG. I can't remember what everyone had, but I do remember that the service was great and the food was very fresh and tasty. We would definitely eat there again, maybe even on our upcoming trip.

We had dinner there in January and it was wonderful! There was a maple infused creme brulee offered that night that just knocked our socks off. It was far better than the maple creme brulee held in such high regard at Le Cellier, IMO. Everything from our salad to our bread, entrees, dessert...everything was great--except our service. There was a big language barrier problem. That was frustrating. We just could not understand our server and he could not understand what we wanted... My oldest DS ordered this really fun layered drink there--we all wished we would have ordered one...

I have had some excellent meals there over the last few years. They have changed their menu a bit, but I still think it is worth a try.

I think it is a hidden gem. We had a fabulous lunch there in 2004, so much so, I raved about it for ages. It was inexpensive too. Great place to eat.

We had a wonderful lunch at YCG in December. I had the tomato and mozzarella sandwich, which was delicious. I was there with a large group, and I can't recall what everyone else had, but I would say that among us we probably tried most of what was available on the menu. We all enjoyed the meal very much. :)
