Tell me about Wifi on board?

I found it was best to LOG OUT of the connection when not in use. Then log in, check my email and log out. That way I didn't have to worry as much about forgetting to turn off some service that was eating the data.

I've tried the Wifi onboard and walked around a lot trying to find a good signal. Anyone know of a good location for strongest wifi strength?

Well, it depends on what you're looking for. "good" as in fast, it's not very fast onboard, regardless of where you are. "Good" as in remaining connected, we've never had much issue with that (albeit - slow).

We just use our laptop while in our room, and had no problems connecting, and staying connected. We've found the fastest (not as fast as home, but fast for being onboard) connections were typically when we were online after the late show, or early, early in the morning. Anytime during the daytime, you competing with everyone else who wants to use the internet.

Since Facetime uses wifi, do you think there would be strong enough of a connection to Facetime with video or even just voice in the early morning or at night?

With that said I turned my phone on and the meter went to 45 instantly. I then shut everything off and it still went pretty quickly with both of our phones. We got another 100mb free in concierge and I think we purchased 100, for three nights. Mostly instagram and facebook and some emails
