We are a buffet loving people who want to try something new.
WC is a buffet correct? And do you leave Boma hungry?

WC is family style. I didn't like it because its loud and a LOT of meat to eat to make you feel like you spent your money well.

Boma is a buffet, but I've only eaten breakfast there. Several times. Even changed a reservation to eat there again. Yes, I think its that good but definitely for the more adventurous eater.

I do not like WCC, but my guys do, VERY loud and crazy and the food had a smoked flavor ( the guys did like that) and was sorta greasy.

Not a huge fan of WCC. As PPs have noted: very noisy. But a good choice for those with young children.

Boma is probably our favourite buffet. We try to go once every trip. Getting up from the table hungry has never been a problem. Now, just trying to get up from the table- that's a whole nother thing...:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I am sure you will get many opinions on any WDW restaurant you ask about. LOL

My family loves WCC for breakfast and likes it for dinner. We don't find it too loud and enjoy the antics. On the other hand, we do not like BOMA at all. (we have only done it for dinner)

I think it is safe to say you will not leave hungry from either : )

I would choose Boma hands down out of the two.

WCC is fun, particularly with kids, but the food is fairly ordinary. Good, but ordinary. As noted, it's also not a buffet, it's a family platter or individual entrees.

Boma is in our families opinion, the best buffet on property. It's probably one of the better ones in the Orlando area. African cuisine lends itself to buffet better than most foods.

Of course, if you (or your family) are not adventurous eaters, your mileage may vary.

WCC is not a buffet. It has an all you can eat BBQ skillet, served family style. And a full menu.
We love this place. The food is always good, it can get loud as the servers do antics like at Primetime (just different antics).

Boma is a buffet and we did NOT like it. All of the dishes on the buffet have sweet spices in them, such as cinnamon, vanilla, fruits. Even the meats are rubbed with them. I love a good buffet and can usually find something to eat, even if it is just beef and potatoes. But to have my meat be sweet...wasn't for me. The soups, veggies...every dish we tasted (and we sampled them all trying to find stuff we would eat) had a sweet tone to it. Either strong or light. By the time we got to dessert we couldn't handle it. Needless to say we left not satisfied and was hungry an hour later.
