Tell me about WCC and Boma

Are they fun for kids? Will they enjoy it? Is there entertainment??

I like to have "fun" meals while at Disney. TIA!

WCC is a lot of fun. The staff there really hams it up and gets you involved in the meal. For ex., when you ask for ketchup, they start yelling, "Ketchup run " and whoever has the ketchup on their table has to deliver to the table in need. It's cheeky but fun.
I wouldn't describe Boma as fun. My family thoroughly enjoys it but we love the atmosphere of the AKL and we enjoy the different foods you can try. They have the basic chicken tenders and fries for kids (and adults) who aren't so adventurous.

WCC is fun for kids. They have stick horse races around the restaraunt. Some of the waiters are really funny and will really do things to make kids enjoy it. The food was okay we had the skillet.

I cannot comment on Boma, I will be eating there in December for the first time.

My girls loved both. They loved WCC because it was really fun and had yummy barbecue. They did the stick pony race and the servers are really funny. We loved Boma because of the great food, but I wouldn't describe it as "fun" at all because they do nothing special like that.

I was at both of those places last week....WCC is a blast! Anyone will love it...Boma has less entertainment but the food at both places was great...I give them both two thumbs up....

There's no entertainment at Boma, it's just a buffet restaurant. Their dinner buffet is the best I've had, anywhere. And AKL is a wonderful place to visit.

My children (9 and 5 last year) enjoyed both - WCC is fun, very loud and brash, they enjoyed the skillet. While the restaurant at Boma can't be described as 'fun' the African music inside and the animals outside from the viewing area are certainly entertaining and the food is awesome

AKL also has a terrific gift shop. It's a great place to visit all the way around. I'd recommend Boma over WCC for both food and atmosphere. The entertainment aspect of WCC is hit or miss. There's no guarantee you'll get a CM who is into it.
