I understand they are unlimited drinks for $18.99. Is that the duration of our 7 days?
What types of drinks are included? Where are the drinks to refill?

Yes, the price is for your whole stay and includes pop, coffee, tea and cocoa. Here is the info ( locations and times) from their website:


Purchase a Resort-refillable mug and enjoy sodas, tea, coffee and cocoa during your stay.

Choose from a variety of mugs with Aulani-inspired designs. It's a great keepsake to enjoy even after you vacation!

Mugs can be purchased at Ulu Cafe and Kālepa's Store. Refillable mug stations are in the following locations:

• Lava Shack (located just across from Mama's Snack Stop): Offering fountain beverages from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
• Ulu Cafe: Offering fountain beverages, coffee, tea and cocoa from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• One Paddle Two Paddle: Offering fountain beverages from 10:00 Am to 8:00 PM

Hours of operation are subject to change.

FYI....not sure if it has changed but tea bags and cocoa packages were inside of the Ulu Cafe by the cashier not outside with the other things. We had to ask where they were.

They definitely have lemonade. I think the might have some kind of fruit punch drink as well but not certain.

IIRC, only the raspberry flavored one.

There was definitely regular iced tea at the Ulu Cafe; it was in a carafe next to the fountain station.

Question: are the refillable mugs at Aulani fitted with the same RFID chip as the WDW mugs? Or is it old school, fill-up as much and as fast without the technological hindrance?

We have been to Ailani four times and are going back again in May. We always being back our old mugs from the first year. The staff has seen us use them and commented...oh you still have the original ones! Lucky you.

So sorry but I don't feel the least bit guilty using them. And we will continue to use them until someone tells us not to or they get the ones with a chip. Then we will buy them again every time like we do at DW now.
