Hi,
Never done dinner at CRT...just booked.

It will be for my DD's 6th birthday...When I read the description of
CRT dinner....it says they celebrate birthdays and anniversaries....

What do they do?
Thanks
Kerri

When we were there, there was a b-day and an engagement.

The fairy god mother leads the celebration and really everyone in the restaurant is paying attention, it's great.

I think what she does is probably geared toward the age.

For the 16 yo, she said she was 16 and never been kissed so the fairy godmother had 2 guys there kiss her! It was very fun.

For the engagement, she just made a huge deal out of it, had them stand up, brought a special dessert.

So, I think what they do probably differs but no matter the specifics, they make a big deal of it and make it very special. I think it is a wonderful place to have a b-day for your 6 yo daugther.

The dinner is very nice. You get quality time w/Cindererall before you're seated during the picture taking. She gave Keilan 2 big hugs, signed her autograph book, and, let us take pics. after the professional ones were done.

Being in the Castle, up top, at night, is so magical. Even for me it was!

The show the fairy godmother puts on is lovely! princess:

DH & I were impressed by the food to. We both really liked our prime rib.

HTH some. I think your DD6 will LOVE having her b-day at the Castle.:thumbsup2

We love going to the castle for dinner. nklooz is right - it's magical and beautiful!

(I will say that I prefer the breakfast menu, but the food at night is still good - and I prefer the Fairy Godmother coming through every now and then rather than all princesses all the time...)

DH and I went to celebrate during our honeymoon, and there were many birthdays and a few other newlyweds. Regardless of the large amount of celebrants, they made sure to 'announce' each one while they sang and celebrated.
We thought the food was incredible. MUCH better than we had expected! DH had salmon, and I had the lamb. We will definitely be going back on our anniversary trip!
We also were there at 6:30 and were able to catch the sunset before Wishes. It was truly magical!:wizard:

Thanks....I'm so excited.
DD will go to Bibbidy bobbidy in the afternoon, ready for her
date in the castle:angel:

We love eating in the castle. My only complaint is that I felt very rushed, which is understandable since it is so popular. If you go with young children(who need breaks using restroom and such) it may not be a very leisurely dinner. That being said, it is still a very magical place to eat and the food at dinner was wonderful. We still plan on eating there again in the future!

My Family and I look forward to eating dinner at CRT on our next trip.
My DS (will be 12 yrs almost 13 yrs) is excited to eat there and he
thought dinner would be a good time. He's hoping to be there inside
while "Wishes" is going on. I'm not sure if I want to be there while
fireworks are going on outside--viabrations, Noise of exploding.
I'm still excited about eating there--it's gonna be Great!!
I've also went to YOUTUBE and saw videos of people eating dinner at
CRT with FairyGodmother hovering around, it was a sneek peek of what's
to come.

We went for the fisrt time this year and absolutely loved it. The food theres is very, very good (especially the crab and corn soup :thumbsup2 ). But we love it there, the music starts playing and the mice come out and start dancing around with the Fairy Godmother. Then she starts singing the Bippity Boppity song and every body starts clapping and (trying) to sing along :rotfl: .
But they give you a wand if your a girl and you get a sword if your a boy. Its just a great time, a great place for the whole family. Its also nice that you get free pictures with Cinderella.

DF and I will be eating dinner at CRT during our honeymoon. I've heard so many good things about it and I can't wait to experience this!!! DF has always called me his Cinderella - his wedding vows are written to "his Cinderella" - We will be eating here our last night at WDW.
