Who has been recently and can describe details of the Narnia set at MGM? I know there are probably restrictions on photos, but I'd like to hear details about what's there.

And how long will it be there?

We saw the movie on Friday night- totally awesome! Saturday we went to MGM to see Narnia. I was personaly disappointed. You walk through the wardrobe into a room. There are snow covered trees, the lamppost.A giant movie screen. They show an extended trailer of the movie while you stand there. There is a live White Witch that does a small speaking role.
After the trailer you walk out and they have things from the movie, the frozen statues, swords and other props.
Not at all what I had thought it would be. But it was o.k.

DD and I saw the Narnia exhibit at MGM today. I thought it was very nice, but one thing really bugged me. There is a CM at the beginning, before you walk through the wardrobe, who gives a brief introduction to the story. The CM had a very thick Hispanic accent. You could barely understand what she said. It just didn't seem right for this intro. I really think it would have been better if they had played something recorded that sounded like it went with the movie.

it was one of my favorite books but i was disapointed by the movie
the walk through was a good idea

i definetly agree with the poster above about having a recording
:goodvibes

We saw it opening day and were very dissapointed. We waited in line almost an hour to listen to a man that nobody could understand, saw clips from the movie and then walked into a room with about 4 or 5 models of things in the movie. Unless you have nothing to do don't waste your time.

I also was disappointed with the walk thru. Expected more. :Pinkbounc

I went once last week and nobody could understand a word that the (male) cast member said. Tried going back a few days later, and it was the same CM, so I walked out.

The CM at the queue area wanted to know why I was leaving, so I tried to nicely explain that nobody could understand the CM, and maybe it would be better to choose someone who could be understood more clearly. (Based on FeralPeg's experience, it's more than one CM)

I believe that they list the stars, producer, director, etc but seriously it was really hard to understand. Most people just looked really confused....

Is it a permanent attraction? Will it still be there in April?
princess:.

The Narnia Walk through was the biggest piece of hype I have ever seen Disney do. It is essentially the longest movie preview (film on a screen) that you stand and watch in a room that has some nice atmosphere and soft carpet. There are very few props to look at as you round the corner from the movie screen that you stood in front of and then you are out the door.
