Is there a charge for the child? What sort of things do they do at the club? I just don't have a good idea of what the club is. Any information will be appreciated.

Kids clubs are available to children who are 3 and older and POTTY TRAINED!!!! (No pull ups and they need to be able to handle everything - paperwork, buttons, etc - themselves). They will also not allow sick children to be in the club.

There is no charge. (Other than that huge cost to get on the boat in the first place).

The clubs open around 9am each day and run until midnight or so. Except embarkation day when they open at 6:00

The clubs are available when in port. At Castaway Cay they move the club onto shore.

They will give you a pager. They will page you if your child wants to leave.

They will make you sign all sorts of paperwork.

They will scan your key when you drop off and pick up your child. You will need a password.

Older children may have sign in and out privleges (mine are little, can't remember the age).

Teens have their own space as well.

They do lots of programming. Like making goo, or art projects or games. Occationally characters come to the club (pirate training with Captian Hook or Do Si Do with Snow White).

Lots of counselors. They don't allow more kids on the boat than the clubs will handle.

They will take the kids to dinner if you leave them there over mealtime (a popular time as a lot of kids don't want to sit for two hours worth of eating).

Thanks for your post! It was exactly the kind of information I was looking for! My 5 yr old wants to go on the cruise for nothing other than the kids club, which was mentioned on the Disney Vacation Planning DVD!

My kids (3 1/2 and 4 1/2) loved the kids clubs, but spent less time there than I anticipated. We were only on a four day - and between Nassau and Castaway Cay and the pools, they were with us a lot.

My kids often ended up in the club in the evening. My son liked to come out when he was tired. But beginning about 9:00 pm they pull out mats and the kids watch movies until the wee hours (Disney movies, natch!) - and my daughter was in heaven.

We were on a 3 night. My 6 yr old DS LOVED the club and would have stayed all night. My 5 yr old enjoyed it but did not put in the long hours. When we were in Nassua, we took the kids on the Blue Lagoon excursion and then when we got back to the ship, I gave the kids a quick bath and dropped them at the club so I could get ready for dinner in peace. DS landed up eatting at the club 2 out of the 3 nights and I dragged him out to see Disney Dreams! Not having them with us took some getting used to...but they can't stop talking about the things they did. DS particularly enjoyed the I want to be a Pirate with Capt. Hook and making Flubber. They also enjoyed participating in the Kids Club show which was held in the Walt Disney Theater - received a free T shirt and got to sing with Mickey on stage!

My 4 yo DD asked, "Mom, when are we going back on the cruise cause I wanna go to kids club!"

Great programs to keep the kids happy, busy & moving! The staff are a great and energetic bunch.

I felt comfortable after speaking with the staff members, surveying the club area, learning the security protocol and reading the Age 3-4 Navigator I saw that everything was well-planned.

My daughter had to be torn from the club!

Our DS6 loved it last year and almost made us feel guilty with the amount of time he spent there. He is eagerly looking forward to going again this year. His brightest memory of last year is Captain Hook coming to inspect everyones Treasure Maps. There are always things to do and if are worried (as we were last year), you can always peek in on them from time to time to see if they are having a good time.- Mike
