I just picked one up for my husband. He used to take pictures, but seldom does any more. I've been into digital for 5 years now. We are going on a cruise and to Disney in Oct., today is his 70th birthday, so I decided to get him a simple digital. Now I wonder if it is TOO simple.
I've had a Canon A540 for several years and love it.
So, what do you think. This A470 will fit easily in his pocket. He has large hands and fingers, so the buttons have to be large enough for him to use with ease.
The other thing, since I'm not sure how much he will really use it, I didn't want to spend too much. He can always upgrade later.
