Tell me about the candlelight processional?

Surprise visit this coming Nov. to WDW for a long weekend. DVC accomodations booked at BCV and BWV. Planning on doing the MVMCP hopefully when tix go on sale the Fri night we are there, we are going a non holiday weekend (before Thanksgiving) so from what I have researched the parks and events aren't horribly crowded (finally!!- we always go in the summer and have always dealt with crowds!)

So my questions:
What is the candlelight processional?
When does it occur? (might do a dinner package and want to plan accordingly)
Is the dinner package worth it/necessary?
Where does it occur in Epcot?
Do they still have illuminations or is this instead?

IllumiNations still takes place, but at 9:30 rather than the typical 9:00.

That is the last MVMCP until after the Thanksgiving weekend, so I would expect it to be somewhat crowded for that party. That doesn't mean I wouldn't do it; I just wouldn't expect low crowds for it.
