Tell Me About the BLT Pool/Splash Pad

Seriously contemplating booking a stay in a 1 bedroom lake view room at BLT for next year in order to be in the MK area. The only thing holding me back is the sad looking splash area. Please tell me that it's not so bad and that your young kids have had fun in the pool/splash area there. My son will be 4 next year, if that helps.
Our home resort is Riviera and my son loves the splash pad there.

If you don't like the pool and splash pad at BLT, you can use the pool and splash pad at the Contemporary. It's not even a 5 minute walk away.

Not bad at all and kids have a lot of fun there. Great pool games for kids too. I would not worry about that at all. Plus, you have the Contemp option as well only a short walk away. We love the lake view rooms -- actually prefer them to the parking lot theme park view.
