Tell me about the best snacks w/ Dining Plan

They have pretty much centralized and consolidated what was available on the snack plan.

Your choices are probably more varied at the resorts where some dessert options may count as snacks.

We noticed items from $1.89 to $3.00. I didn't notice anything available above $3.00 (an ice cream novelty at one of the parks, but I don't remember where.)

A drink and chips can feed 2-3 however as the bags are the king size grab bags of chips.

My boys really enjoyed trying different ice cream bars from the ice cream carts. They also enjoyed popcorn, as that is one of their favorites. I agree, though, with other poster, your snack choices are pretty limited. We didn't find anything too out of the ordinary.

My favorite was the Mickey rice crispy treats!! They were really good!! I had read about them here, but thought, "how good can they really be?" So we tried them, and we were hooked!! We used to get them at our counter service meals as dessert and we brought home a bunch of them with our left over snack points. I can't wait to go back in January and get some more!!

for me, the best snacks we had were not on the dining plan. if i had to choose on the dining plan, i would pick the rice krispy treats. i wish i had tried the ones with chocolate on them. the chipwiches were a nice filling snack since they're so big.

The rice crispy treats are great.

I think the most expensive thing you can get as a snack on the dining plan is the Minute Maid frozen lemonade ($3.50 as I recall). The only place we ever found it was at a pretzel cart between inoventions east and test track.

I vote for the mickey rice krispie treats also. I think we used most of our credits for this & brought a piece of disney home to enjoy for a few more days.

Are the Mickey ice creams included? I'd have thought if so that they would be near the top of the list. ?

mickey ice creams are included. we used our last snack credits :( to buy them for breakfast! the kids next to us were very jealous.

DH liked the frozen choc. covered banana on a stick. I was partial to the mickey bar although it is VERY sweet and you must have something to wash it down with. DD liked the popcorn...

I thought I had read the Turkey legs are considered a snack. True?

Where can you get the chocolate covered bananas?
I saw them at one of the ice cream vendor carts. I know I saw them in the MK, but I do not remember which cart. I think it was around frontier land.

I got one at a cart outside of Toontown. It was either the cart right near the entrance, or it was the last cart in Fantasyland on the way to the back of the park. At any rate, it was SO hot when we were there that the banana was half thawed...mushy and really YUCKY!! Sorry, but not a fan here!

Yeah I never thought of it getting mushy. I made some at home & they were pretty good, but I cut mine into small pieces so it did not really have time to thaw.
