Tell me about Swagbuck

I've been hearing about swagbucks and went to the website, but it's a bit overwhelming. Can someone please explain the concept to me? Thanks!

Basically you use the swagbucks search tool and they randomly give you bucks for your searches. Then you can use those bucks to purchase things from thier swagstore. They have gift cards, and tons of other things you can purchase with your swagbucks. They also give you swagbucks for refferals and other things, like taking a survey or participating in the daily poll. Hope this helped! I search the web alot so I figured it wouldn't hurt to earn some bucks towards a gift card while I was doing my normal searching.

I've only really been active for a month - and really only doing searches and daily polls - and I've made some easy money. I'm not going out of my way and doesn't take up any extra time, so I like it. Between swagbucks and a couple survey sites I checked on, I'm about $20 from ordering my Kindle without using my own money! And I'm just waiting on a giftcard for $25!

I don't understand what you're asking. You were supposed to get some swagbucks for signing up? Sometimes they take a day or so to credit. You can always send an email to them to ask about it.

OK. I found the code you are talking about. Codes are case sensitive. Try it again and enter it EXACTLY as you see it (no spaces): BackToSchool

I'm another who doesn't play hardcore and am enjoying my $5 Amazon gift cards. Be sure to "like" the Swag Bucks Facebook fan page and visit frequently as people post what they're searching/winning. Using the toolbar is a big help too.

I know that some of the bloggers that I follow are given special referral links on special event days like yesterday. It may be that if you signed up under them with the BTS referral code, you got 40 swagbucks instead of the regular 30?

I love Swagbucks! I have been using my Swagbucks to get Amazon gift cards which I am saving for Christmas presents. I just entered a Swagstakes for the first time. I doubt I will win, but it was only a few Swagbucks and worth a shot! I don't do anything more than searching and entering codes that I find on Facebook, Twitter or through my toolbar and I've earned quite a few gift cards.

Swagbucks is great. I use them, mypoints & quickrewards. Swagbucks is definitely the easiest. I get a $5 Amazon giftcard every 2 or 3 weeks...and I only do the searches, daily polls & if I happen upon a swagcode. Just use it instead of google & the bucks add up fairly quickly!

Swag Codes like they had the other day can be found in various places (in blog posts, in messages on the toolbar, on the homepage, etc) These codes are not all that common.

When you win SB by searching, you will see a message at the top of the search results page with a SB graphic and a message that says you have won XX swagbucks. Ocassionally you have to enter a 3 letter code to claim the SB, but that's not very common either.

Yeah...codes are a little more random & often takes a little more work. The easiest way to find out about them is through the widget...there is a link somewhere on the homepage that shows you how to get one...You can see mine at http://loralei2.livejournal.com/762.html All you have to do is click on "Swag Codes" and then click the "Check if there is a swag code" button. It will tell you if there is an active code & where to find it.

As for searching...you can't miss it when you win. It's a pretty big image at the top of the screen. As Clutterbug mentioned...sometimes they make you enter a 3 letter code...but that's not too often.
