Tell me about St. John's....

I would like to hear about your excursions to St. John and what you thought of it. DH and I always enjoy visiting our National Parks whenever possible and we would like to go during our upcoming Eastern cruise. There are a few different options and I would like to hear what others have done and thought of it (BTW we have twin DDs who will be during 11 on this cruise in September).

St. Thomas is my favorite port that the Magic goes to and that's because of the scenery and St. John. I take any chance I can to get over there. I love the ride over there and then the island is simply beautiful. I totally enjoyed the island tour that I did when I was a guest with my parents (I'm the DD of CM_Mom). And I've done snorkeling there as well. Very nice. And the beaches are to die for. I actually caught a show on the Travel Channel tonight (I'm home on vacation) and it named Trunk Bay on St. John the Best Scenic Beach in America!! Take advantage of being at St. Thomas and head over to St. John. Spend all day there if you can. Who needs shopping when they can have the beauty of St. John??
