Tell Me about splitting stay and moving luggage

I was told that Disney would move our luggage from Cont. to AKL for us can anyone let me know if is a big problem.We will NOT have a car.

It won't be a problem at all. We've done it on several occassions before.
Let the CM know at Resort#1 that you will be moving to resort#2. Go to the parks after checking out of resort#1, and by the time you are ready to go check into resort #2, your luggage should already be there waiting for you!

this should not be a problem for you...

we did this. when we were on our honeymoon. we split our stay between carribean beach and port orleans french quarter.

bell services will be able to come and pick up your luggage, and transfer it to your new resort. we gave ours to them, went to mk. when we left mk, we just got on the bus to our new resort, and then checked-in. our luggage was at bell services waiting for us at the new resort.

i don't remember getting charged for this. i think that they will do this as a complimentary service since you are moving from one on-property resort to another. you may want to double check about the prices though.

Disney transferred my luggage when I switched resorts during a stay, but my luggage didn't arrive til late afternoon. Ever since that time, I take my luggage with me via taxi.
