Tell me about Shutters -$$ worth it? - Pro's and Con's

I was just on a RC Cruise this summer and bought the photo package. They ran a deal that you save $50 if you bought the first 2 days of the cruise. Does DCL offer a discount like this as well?

If you pre-purchase the full CD (online before your cruise) you can get a discount. It think it's like 15%.

This is a helpful thread for the first-time cruiser. We are bound for Alaska this summer - three generations and three staterooms. The pros and cons listed here are helpful. I LOVE Memory Maker at WDW but because Shutters is not quite the same (and significantly more expensive) it's a tougher call to make for DCL.
