Tell me about Presidents week?

I'm sure this has been asked a million times before, but I'm not having much luck with search today My sister has Presidents week off and has offered to take me to WDW with her (and pay!) I'm used to going in December when crowds are light, so I know it will be crowded (but for a free trip, I'll take it!), but can someone compare it to the crowds at other peak times? Is it usually busier than Thanksgiving, for instance? Or some idea of wait times? (Is everything going to be an hour? Or not that different than usual?) It will be my sister's first trip, so I'm hoping it's not *too* bad, but I'm sure we'll have fun no matter what!

We will all be there, too...February 14th through the 20th. We were there around the same time last year, too...It really wasn't too bad until we came upon the weekend. We left President's Day..(which we are doing again this year) so I don't know personally how it was on that day...but, I have seen on the forum it is really crowded.

We have to go during that time so my grandchildren don't miss as much school..(they have Friday-Monday off)....If you go...make SURE you get your meal reservations made..(unless you plan to eat only counter service) If you are used to going around the first week of December, there is a big difference.....I like going during whatever "off season" I can manage...But, like I said...this is the most suitable time for the whole family..You are right....no matter what...you will have a wonderful time...

We had annual passes and made trips July 11-19 of 2003,
Dec 18 - 22, 2003, Presidents Week of 2004, and
July 3 -10, 2004,. To us it was most crowded during
presidents week. We still had a great time, just expect
longer lines than you are use to. Good Luck.
