Thinking about Marrakesh for lunch while in Epcot... how do you like it? THANK YOU!! :thumbsup2

It was okay... we hated the lamb, but everything else was good. Not at all crowded, pretty inside, but we had an ADR to early to see the bellydancer, so check on that.

Oh, its one of our favorite places! Never crowded. I think that people are not willing to try new things (they must stick with hamburgers and chicken nuggets!).

DD21 and I share everything and can't eat it all! I think we usually get the Sultan's Sampler (?).

But YOU won't know til you try it!

It's Americanized Morrocan food with subtle Morrocan flavors (not spicy). The food is fine, by Disney standards. My son always gets the Kabob and the rest of us usually get the Cous-Cous. We've never had a bad meal nor bad service, the ambiance with the music and belly dancer makes for a nice dinner. We go every other year!

Thanks you guys!!! I'm torn between this and San Angel, because I love Mexican food. But I really want to try Marrakesh because it's something different. :thumbsup2

This is the only place that we will go back. The food was just bland, there's so much better choices in Epcot.

We went for lunch and almost missed the belly dancer, so like a previous poster mentioned, be sure to check on the time if you want to see her!

Our food was decent, not great. It's one of those restaurants you should go to at least once, even if some people don't love the food. ;)

I found the food to be just "eh", and also cold. As others have said, there are many better choices in World Showcase. :thumbsup2

I actually think the QS in Morocco is better than the Marrakesh. I love spicy food, and this place was just bland and okay. Nothing special. It did not help that we had bad service and all 3 kid's meals were cold. Not even luke warm, but actually cold like they had pulled them out of a fridge.

I thought the food was ok. Not great but not bad. The bellydancer was fun. She had my daughters go up and dance with her. It wasn't crowded at all and it was really pretty inside.

I actually prefer Tangierine Cafe to Restaurant Marrakesh. I found the table service option in Morocco rather tame and bland.

This is the one restaurant on WDW that I will never go to again. The atmosphere and service was enjoyable but the food was in my opinion awful.

i finally figured out why regardless of the time of year it is you can always get a reservation there

DS, who is at the world now, just sent me a text this evening saying that they loved the food at Morocco. =0)

This is what I think. I had a decent meal there but I've had better Moroccan here at home. That is usually the case though because Disney tones down the food for the American pallet while the places I go here are more authentic. That being said I would eat there again without hesitation.

We had a fantastic time here. Not only is the ambience great, but we loved the food. Finished off with the dessert bastila, mmmm... custardy philo... delicious.

it's my favorite in EPCOT. It's not very different, and I'm sure I can get better food at home, but I can say that about all the EPCOT restaurants.

This is what I get there:
"Couscous M'Rouzia Fassi - Braised beef served with caramelized onions, raisins, honey, almonds and eggs."
