I grew up in a northern suburb of Minneapolis (Anoka), and I really love the Twin Cities area. What kind of information are you looking for? Do you want to know about shopping, neighborhoods, arts & entertainment, politics, etc. etc.?

I just saw your post that you are visiting & possibly moving - when will you be visiting?

The Twin Cities area is great. Downtown Minneapolis has a lot of great architecture, is very clean, pretty easy to get around. There are a lot of things to do/see in the Twin Cities area, Guthrie Theater, Walker Art Museum, Minneapolis Institute of Art, Minnesota Twins Baseball, Timberwolves Basketball, Vikings Football, Wild Hockey, Science Museum, Children's Museum, Summit Ave, great small towns around the area to visit, etc. You also have the Mall of America for shopping.
