Thinking about changing our vacation dates to May........we used to go this time back about 7-8 years ago, but don't really know much about it now. What are the good times to go--early/mid May, or later in the month? I know the Flower and Garden festival is going on around this time, but not sure when that ends?

We have vacationed late-Oct/early-Nov for the past several years, so looking for the same (or less) crowd level than that time of year. Any advice or tips are appreciated!!

I was there May 8 to 15, was great! Temps near 90 but not humid like summer. Crowds weren't bad. Downside - we missed all the new things, which were planned starting later May/June.

I see you have a BWV tagline on your post....are you DVC? We own at BWV, and just snagged a Standard Studio for early-May. I'm used to fighting for one of those for the fall, so I was happy to get this one on my first try, lol.

Yes, I've owned DVC since 1999. I like to alternate between BWV and the other resorts, I've stayed at all the WDW DVC's except SSR. We stayed at the Poly Villas this time. Have BWV for October, fall is hard to get at BWV, I booked it at exactly 11 months.
