WE have never been to Marrakesh. Please tell me about the food and the atmosphere. I think my DD's will love watchin the belly dancer, not to mention me DH..LOL!!!

We just tried this restaurant for the first time last week. It was great. The staff was really friendly and the belly dancer had the kids come out for a lesson. THe food was much better than I imagined. I had the sultans sampler and it was really good. I think its an undiscovered treasure because it wasn't crowded at all.

The Lemon Chicken is awesome. We really enjoy Marrakesh. We've never had to wait for a table and it's kind of removed from the hustle and bustle of Epcot, so it feels like you're in a different, quiet, relaxing place for a meal.

I ate there for dinner one night--it was easy to get a table, (probably because it was late for the dinner period) but the service was rather slow. I would probably not recommend this if you're hurrying to get out to see Illuminations or something, but as a leisurely meal it was decent. Also go early for dinner to maximize your time with the entertainment, because I think she stopped around 8:30pm when I was there.

If you're a couscous fan, you can ask to sub the couscous for the rice--I thought the lamb and the couscous were the best and would just order that next time.

Also, if you have a birthday, it would probably be entertaining to tell them, as they make quite a show of the singing. I saw several celebrations while I was eating.

We have never been disappointed eating there - my favorite is the chicken couscous. The belly dancers always encourage children to get up and dance with them and are happy to take pictures with the kids. It is a fun, relaxed atmosphere and I always make sure to take my company when they are in town!

It is indeed an undiscovered treasure. We went during one of the first lunch seatings and practically had the whole place to ourselves, including a bellydancer. My DD was about 4 at the time. It was so nice...what an experience...the interior is stunning and covered in mosaics. I too had the sampler platter...it had a shish kabob and chicken and "sweet meat" pie...a moroccan delicacy. I wasn't big into the pie but I'm still glad I tried it b/c if you're going to travel to another country, you might as well eat like a local. Okay...so it was only Epcot..but it was still fun pretending.

We love Marrakesh....we always feel like we have been transported to Morrocco if only for a few hours. I think even the pickiest of eater can find a suitable menu choice, trust me, my DH is very picky. We love the feast and the kids menu is the standard kids fare. Be daring and enjoy a great meal in an awesome atmosphere...you'll be glad you did!
