Tell me about Luigi's Garage at the Studios

My boys are "huge" CARS fans, and I am reading about meeting Lightning and Mater at Luigis Garage. When we went down 2 yrs ago, the cars just came out over near Indiana Jones and it was a mad dash of kids running all around.
Please tell me they have an organized way to meet the CARS characters now!

It is very organized. Lightening and Mater stay out from like 10-6 (check your guide when you get to the park). There is a line set up and greeters to help maintain the line.

It's a standard character greeting setup where the characters are roped off, and people wait in line to have their pictures taken with the Lightning and Mater. No autographs though

that's great news...! So they aren't giving them breaks anymore.. they're out constantly... GREAT...!!!

wow I am really excited to see that they did this. We have also been there before when everyone ran crazzy when they came out for the small parade they did. Thanks for the info and those that shared the pictures.

We missed them last August. DS5 just recently saw the movie for the first time (yeah, I know, shame on me for not buying it for him sooner) and he will go NUTS over them this summer.

DS3 loves "Cars", specifically, Lightning McQueen. Between this, breakfast with Leo & June, and the Playhouse Disney stage show, DHS may wind up being his favorite park (although he's obsessed with the idea of Big Thunder Mountain at MK).

Where the old Al's Toy Barn was.

Buzz and Woody are by Toy Story Mania now in their own building.

We were there last Feb. and this was not there!!!!! Amazing!! DS will LOVE this. It was the free for all in front of Indy - so I"m glad they changed it!!!

I was really pleased when we visited in May last year to find that there was a specific meet and greet opportunity - it was much more civilised than the previous offering over on Streets of America.

Luigi's was not complete when we were there last and Lightning was in the shop getting repairs, so DD will be thrilled to be able to meet them both at the same time!
