Tell me about Kona Cafe

Dh & I are looking at Kona Cafe for a possible ADR on our Magic Kingdom day. How is it? I looked at the menu and it looks pretty good.

Probably the best meal of our trip! We did lunch on our magic kingdom day. So happy we did this one!

I have had breakfast there and it is really good. I'm booked for breakfast again in December. I have read a lot of good comments about dinner there and am trying that during my Feb trip.

Love it! I've stopped at the Poly for lunch when on my way driving to Atlanta! (Not even going to WDW.) The potstickers are a favorite, and I had great fish tacos here.
One thing I did not care for was the hamburger, was dry and tasteless but silly me for not getting one of the better choices.

SOOOOOOO GOOOODDD!!!!! We all LOVE it there Both Lunch and Dinner are great. And I hear the breakfast is very good. Oooh I could really go for some of that bread right now....YUMMM.

Our experience exactly, great place to eat. When we've had our MK day it's worked out to be the perfect place to go.

We did breakfast and dinner at Kona on our last trip, and when we go back in a few weeks we will have lunch there. The kids loved it, DH loved it, I loved it Great choice!

We have loved Kona every time, Shrimp is excellant, and teh creme brulee is the best I have ever had!

The food is very good. We've been a few times. Love the chicken wing app. Their fish is very good too.

The potstickers and the crab cakes are must-do for us! We've had luncha nd dinner there and love both. There's a salad with asian-seasoned steak on the lunch menu that was fabulous. The panko-crusted shrimp are delish. We'venever had a bad meal there.

Now I'm hungry for Kona Cafe. Rats.

We loooove the breakfast there and it definitely has the best coffee in Disney. French press pot- yum! This time we are staying at the Poly so we'll probably do breakfast there a couple of times and I would like to try dinner there once. Its kind of a toss up between Kona and Ohanas.

I have had lunch at kona and we really enjoyed it. It is one of our favorites. For our trip next week we have it scheduled for breakfast.

We've eaten dinner there, and while the food was great, I didn't care for the service or the atmosphere. We were seated right by the entrance, and I totally felt that the people waiting for a table were watching me eat. The server we had that night was not very personable and I felt rushed the entire time I was eating. Again, though, the food was great, but I felt like I couldn't enjoy it as much. Probably just me, but I've been hesitant to book another reservation there because of that experience.

I would love to try Kona Cafe, but my dad is really picky & I'm not sure he'd like anything on the menu. Do you think the chef would be willing to make him a plain steak or plain pork chops without any sauce?
