Tell Me About Jiko - Please!

Hi - going to Disney for 7 days in January and I want to try a different restaurant. Can anyone give me any info or their opinion/experience with Jiko for dinner? Thank you so much. Your input is greatly appreciated.

We ate at Jiko last January and it was one of the best meals we have had at Disney. Elegant, relaxed atmosphere, fantastic food. I had salmon, my DH had a beef dish. A bit pricy, but worth it in our opinion!

Enjoy! Also, if you haven't tried Boma, I also recommend it - more relaxed than Jiko, but also wonderful food.

We are going to WDW 11/27-12/6 AKL and will be eating there at least once. I would be happy to PM you when we return. I have only heard great things about it though.

We had the Tofu and veggies there. Very, very tasty. We couldn't eat the entire dish and our server said in her 3.5 years there she only had seen one person finish it. Everything we ordered was great. They brought us a Vegan menu, so I am guessing they may have a few special diet menus.

They have a wine list of all African wines and are very helpful with letting you know which wine will go best with each item you order.

The atmosphere was great, the service, albeit a bit slow was also great. One of the best places we ate at. We did make an advanced reservation for this restaurant and we were glad we did. There were people with long waits.

Fabulous, wonderful place. My favorite restaurant in all of WDW. Great food, super wine list, attentive service. You can't go wrong there.
