We've been HH before right after Thanksgiving.

It looks like we MAY get to be there from Wednesday night until Sunday (Nov. 24-28th.) We are still trying to get Thanksgiving night.

Anyway...please tell me about the activities that we can expect Thanksgiving week on and before the holiday.

What are our choices for Thanksgiving dinner? What do you like?

I've heard about touch football on the beach. What's that all about?

We will definitely go to Savannah for 1 or 2 days, and will be budget conscious.

We will be in a 2 bedroom, with another couple and their pre-teen.

BTW, we are really excited about meeting Simba's Mom!

Thanks!!

I'll be looking forward to meeting you also!
There's a dinner that the resort makes and delivers to your villa, if you want to purchase that (at least they've offered it the last 4 years). Or there are other places-Piggly-Wiggly, Signe's (if you're a small group-their dinners are for 2), and probably others. Two years ago Salty Dog had a dinner, and they delivered, but I don't know if they'll do it again. Also, there are places you can go out for dinner-I think Kewz1 might know more about those offerings. Yes, there's a family touch football game on the beach Thanksgiving afternoon, and there's an activity to make the tee shirts (for Team Gravy and Team Turkey, if I remember right). Depending on what time you get there Wednesday, there's usually a 1 hour members' tour of the resort that day, showing all the hidden mickeys and telling a little backround of the resort.

Thanks Simba's Mom!!!

Do you know how much the dinner's run from each place? Can you order just the turkey? What is the best SOUTHERN choice. I make cornbread dressing to die for. I'm afraid Disney would yankee-fy it. Actually, my dressing may actually kill you -- it calls for a dozen eggs!

Our travellilng companions aspire to be the next Emeril...so I'm sure they'll have some good eats too. However, I have no desire to thaw out a turkey on the way to Hilton Head, and we probably won't be able to buy one thawed to cook.

I'd love to hear more about Hilton Head!!
