Tell me about GF restaraunts!

I get to spend another b-day at WDW thanks to value season rates and an awesome plane ticket price!!

Last year we ate at CRT for dinner for my 30th. It was awesome! Plus, I special ordered a cake, which made it even more special. While I loved CRT, I don't necessarily want to go back because I don't need the pics with Cindy. We are spending that day at MK, so I was thinking possibly Tony's. However, when I saw that GF was the only place you could order the small cakes with the castle on top, I'm really leaning toward somewhere there! Not, V and As, for sure. I'll be 5 mos. pregnant at the time and right now I still have a lot of aversions to different foods depending on the day, so buffets are good so I can eat whatever sounds good. But I'm not opposed to checking out other places.

We had the dinner at 1900 Park fare which was fantastic. The strawberry soup as well as the Asparagus soup were really, really good. And I loved the Portobello Mushroom Ravioli. They also had two other types of pasta but after eating so much soup and ravioli and chicken I was just plain full. The salad bar part of it was great too with a wonderful variety. And of course couldn't go wrong with the fantastic desserts that they had that evening. My son had a great time as well. It is a character dinner with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzy and Perla. It was alot of fun. I heard that Narcossee's is really nice. The menu looked fantastic. Just didn't go as I had my son with me and it looked like a nice place to go for a romantic dinne.r

We really like Narcoossee's. It is a beautiful setting with a view of the MK and of the water. If you time it right, you can see Wishes from the restaurant - either inside or on the porch. They pipe in the music. As an added bonus with your condition, we think the food is "plainer" here than in most of the other signature restaurants which may be helpful if you are having food aversions.

Congrats on the birthday, baby and trip to WDW!

1900 Park Fare isn't available for free dining, closed for renovation 'til Oct 1st.

Grand Floridian Cafe is handling this character meal, but it will not be buffet.

Citricos will be open for lunch, serving GF Cafe's standard lunch menu. We have an ADR there, check out the menu and see if find anything suitable.

we had dinner at Citrico's during one of our stays. it was very nice. we were on the DDP, and the meal cost us 2 TS points each. the food was very good. it had a very calm and laid back atmosphere. we timed it so that we could watch Wishes at the magic kingdom while we were dining. it was a great experience.

my 2 favorites are Narcoosees (my ALL TIME FAV disney restaurant) and the GF cafe! try them out! good luck!

I love Citricos! Also the GF Cafe. Narcossees is good, although I prefer the other two. Never have eaten at V&A or 1900.

Be sure to give some of them a try!

Another huge fan of Citrico's here. I do think it is very lay back dining, great food, good service and always a delightful meal.

Yes, consider that 1900 Park has been relocated to GF Cafe, except meals are plated, not buffet. We loved the characters and buffet at 1900 Park Fare.

GF Cafe "normal" lunch will be served in the space use for Citricos.

Citricos & Narcoossee's will continue their usual Dinner only operations(2TS).
