Has anyone ate at Garden Grill? What does it rotate or revolve around? What will we see? I read somewhere that this restaurant rotates.

We have eaten here a few times and each time were seated right in front to start. It rotates at a very slow pace. We started out looking out at the entrance of the restaurant. Then as we moved we could get up and look down at the scenens that you would see on the land tour. That is as far as we got before finishing dinner.

You will barely/not really notice that you are moving, when we were there in Dec we were told that there are 2 speeds. I prefer the "faster" speed, you make it all the way around, so you finish where you started. The slower speed we only made it about 2/3rds of the way around. What you see are the scenes from the "living with the land" ride. It's really cool.

I think a good half of it is painted walls, right? Then the center section....imagine it divided into four sections...the first being the entrance that everyone sees. On the opposite side of that, is the open section that overlooks the Living with the Land ride. You don't see the ride really, just the tops of the trees for the most part. You can go look over the railing though and see everything below.

When we went, we got about half way around by the end of the meal...VERY slow moving!

Some of the restaurant has painted walls, the rest is scenes from the living with the land ride. We were told that we would not be able to notice the place moving, my husband noticed right away how fast it was moving. I have to say that he does suffer from sort of extreme motion sickness though. I thought it was moving at a noticeable rate, but as long as you look straight ahead and not to the side when you are moving along the walls it's not so bad. Once you reach the landscapes it's better. My husband even agreed it was worth it because the character interaction was amazing. All characters came around 3 times and spent quite a bit of time with our family. The food was okay too...nothing spectacular but I've definately had worse. It was probably one of the most enjoyable meals our family had together at Disney this year. It was relaxing and we had a fun time together. I believe we also had the last reservation time of the evening, I didn't know that until I got there but maybe we were less rushed because of that. I would definately consider it. Oh forgot to mention, if you do suffer from motion sickness, when looking straight ahead you should be looking in the direction that the restaurant is moving. Hope this helps.:goodvibes
