If we decide to book a cruise I think we'd mainly be doing activites geared for the whole family since three of us fall into the adult category and one DD, who would be age 17. I know positively she would not want to go to the teen area alone (very shy).

I know about meals together, the shows and the movie theater. What other activities are there for the whole family? Thanks!

There are family line dance lessons, trivia, Mickey Mania, family caberet shows--comedians, etc. I have done animation drwaing with my DD. Shuffle board, ping pong, sitting on Deck 4 reading and talking.

Check out the Navigators at www.dcltribute.com/navigators There are lots of "adult activities" such as the Art of Entertaining series of the Navigators series that your "older" family could do together that wouldn't be appropriate for a family with little kids.
