Tell me about Crystal Palace please!

We have eaten there numerous times and have yet to have a bad experience.
Food has always been good and characters have been great about pics and such. Only problem is other people letting their kids run up to your table and getting in your pic. But that is not Disneys fault as much as the parents. It is a great place and we try to eat there at least once per trip.

We went last September for both breakfast and dinner. We waited for a bit to be seated both times, but it wasn't terrible. I know a lot of people prefer breakfast, but we thought dinner was much better. My boys liked the characters, but didn't really seem to care whether they came by or not. I was surprised by how good the food was for a buffet. I've been trying to decide whether to try LTT this next trip, but I can't decide since we liked CP so much.

We've dined at CP twice, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

It was a bit crazier in October 2006, as we were on the free DDP (we arrived the last possible day for 10 nights). All the restaurants were busier! *LOL*

We had a fairly early dinner (5:30-ish) in October 2006 and the staff seemed to have difficulty keeping the buffet stocked due to the high volume of traffic. Despite that, the food was well prepared and maintained, with a good variety. And Pooh and Friends spend some time with two middle-aged ladies! That's us, by the way! :)

In December 2007 we had a 6:30 ressie, but no one was hungry. They agreed to accommodate us at 9:00 p.m., so we saw Wishes from just outisde the restaurant and the second SpectroMagic parade from inside. Food was excellent, and the restaurant began clearing out a bit around 9:30 p.m. (park was open until midnight). The characters spent a lot of time with everyone and really worked to get photos with the 14-week-old infant with us. He kept going to sleep just before the characters would arrive at our table! But they all returned and he had his photos with them. :thumbsup2
