Well, it is set. We will be staying at Coronado Springs in late May on an AP rate of $125/night + tax for four nights. It is a room with a king size bed with a requested Lake View. Any idea which of the three areas we might get. Any opinions on which area is best for a young couple in their late 20s? Any must see or must do things at Coronado Springs? Any tips or suggestions? Also, does anyone have a link to the rates for treaments and services offered at the Spa (i.e. what does a massage or pedicure or such cost)?

Thanks in advance for your input,

Kermit

My DH and I stayed at CSR during our January 2001 trip. We LOVED CSR! It was so romantic. We had a king-size bed and requested a lake view and we had a beautiful room in Casitas 4 that overlooked the lake. It was really gorgeous. I originally thought I would like the Cabanas better but the Castitas have a real charm about them. Take some time to wander around the Casita courtyards especially in the evening when the fountains are lit...very romantic. :love2:

The Dig Site looked great but unfortunately it was really cold the week we were there so we just got to look at it. We did rent surrey bikes and that was a fun way to spend an afternoon exploring the resort.

We found the bus service to be the best of any of the resorts we have stayed at. CSR is a convention resort so lots of the guests are not even going to the parks so that leaves more room for us! ;)

I don't really know anything about the spa but I am sure you will love the resort. :)

Oh BUZZ..where are you??

I have also booked at CSR with a King bed. To tell the truth I am just happy being able to get a room at this resort. Will be there April 20 to 29.
I really enjoy the Market Garden and the resort store is the second best of all the resorts (best store IMO is at AKL).
Hope you get a great location.

We stayed in Casitas #5 in March and absolutely loved this resort. The scenery was breathtaking. We thought the Casitas section was the nicest. We were furthest from the Food Court but closest to the main pool and bus stop. We enjoyed the strawberry daquiris at the pool bar, the hot tub and the wet burrito from the Pepper Market. By the end of the week our feet were sore so we took advantage of the golf cart shuttle to take us to the food court and the pool. We always had a seat on the buses. We will be staying here again next year!! :flower:

We LOVED CSR, and wouldn't hesitate to go back. We were in the Cabanas, (had originally requested the Casitas) and were perfectly happy there. I am sure you will enjoy your time- take some nice relaxing walks around the property, rent water mice (fun!) and have a great time!!

Yeah, this thread is almost 6 hours old and Buzz hasn't replied :confused3

Seriously, Buzz has a wealth of info about CSR and has a site dedicated to it. Just look for other threads about CSR and more than likely he will have a post or 2. Just click on the link on his signature.

FWIW, we really loved CSR. Cabanas are probably the best as far as location to El Centro and the Dig Site.

DH and I have also booked a package at CSR in Oct. during the food and wine festival. We have toured this resort before and have eaten a few times in Maya Grill, but this will be our first stay here. Our minds were made up by the positive DIS posts. :flower:

CSR is terrific. We have stayed at Casitas three times. We request a room near the parking lot. We are so beat after being in the parks all day, the last thing we want is a hike to our room. You might think it would be noisy, but we have had no problems. :earsboy:

CSR is a great resort. Check out my website below for pics, links and info.

There ya are Buzz! knew you wouldn't let us down ;)

We are set to stay at CSR 4/26-29. Soooo excited! This is only our second onsite stay and our first time at CSR. We requested Cabanas, but honestly I after everyone's reviews, I will be happy wherever we are.

I am also going to be staying at CSR in July with my DBF. We are both in our mid-twenties and decided we wanted a resort that was a little less 'kid-friendly'. After reading this thread and many other threads (and visiting Buzz's site :flower: ) I am VERY excited to be staying there! Can't wait for the pool bar :Pinkbounc
