The signature restaurants get pretty good reviews overall and we've enjoyed the ones we've tried so far, but I don't seem to see/read many reviews of Citricos and I'm trying to decide whether I should try to fit it in next trip. Does anyone have opinions, reviews, pics, or anything to share?

Hi! I ate at Citricos the middle of February. We had a good dining experience. I would recommend it.

I had the crab gateau as an appetizer, and I thought it was just OK. It was a little too "wet" for me. For my main dish, I had the scallops. They were excellent. One of the best scallop dishes I've ever had! People go crazy about the scallops at Napa Rose at the Grand Californian, which I've had and are quite tasty, but the scallops at Citricos were much better. I did have dessert, but I don't remember what it was. It wasn't bad, but not totally memorable.

My sister had the chicken, and she enjoyed it.

The wine list was nice too.

A majority of the diners were adults, although of course, there were some kids. The dining room was noisy, I thought. We had a table by the window, which was nice.

Service was competent, but a little slow. The chefs were very friendly. Everytime I walked by the kitchen, they would greet me. I thought that was a nice touch.

All in all, it was probably my best dining experience at WDW ever.

I am not the OP but thank you for the review. Citricos is one that I am really hoping to fit into our next trip but it may have to be on arrival night and who knows how that will go. I really hope we can get there though!

Been to Citricos many times. One of my favorites at WDW. Great food and generally good service. My kids (ages 15 and 9) loved it also. We went to Citricos at the beginning of our Feb 2009 trip. They liked it so much that when our return trip home got delayed a day, they picked Citricos to go back to.

I think Citricos is one of the nicer signatures. I think it flies under the radar because there isn't much there that would appeal to families. The restaurant itself is not exciting so not much to entertain children. And for some reason, if the place is busy, it can be noisy (but it's so wonderful here when it's not noisy).

The food is good. The desserts are nothing fantastic but honestly I feel that way about all of WDW desserts except for V&A's. We've eaten at Citricos several times and have always enjoyed the appetizers and entrees (and wine).

The service is the best I've had in a Disney signature restaurant. Servers go out of their way to be friendly and informative. While having drinks at the Citricos bar on our last visit, the bartender overherad us praise our meal at Artist Point the night before. Once seated, he presented us with a couple of plates of bite-sized appetizers, made fresh.

"Our chef couldn't bear to hear that you had a better meal at that other place," the waiter said with a wink.

We enjoyed our dinner at Citrico's in Sept- but what stood out the most was the waiter- the kids still talk about him, he was wonderful!!! It's not a "kid focused" restaurant but he did everything he could to make sure they had a great time. We all enjoyed our meals as well. And what a great fireworks view!
