We're flying Jet Blue in a couple weeks to Disney!! WOOHOO!!! Anyway, I'm not familiar at all with this ticketless check in as I"ve always ever flown Delta.

I have the paper I need to bring. Do we still wait in line in the airport to check our luggage... and then go thru security? I just want to know what to expect.

Also, do I need to keep that paper for the flight home?

Thanks!!

You don't actually need that paper, just your government-issued ID. Also, you can check in online up to 24 hours in advance, or you can check in with a SkyCap, or at a self-check kiosk, or at the counter. Up to you, but unlike my wasted efforts, you only need to check in once (I did it online, then tried again at a kiosk - don't ask, it was my first time on JetBlue too :)). The advantage to checking in online is you may be able to change your seat - I didn't, there was nothing available better than what I had. The advantage to a SkyCap or kiosk is, I had to determine before I'd packed how many bags I'd be checking. Thus, I was unable to bring my folding chair with the cupholder in both arms so's I could sit out on the "balcony" at Pop Century, smoking and drinking beer :teeth:
But back to your question - if you use the self-check kiosk, you'll need any credit card to operate it as identification; NOTHING will be charged to it! SkyCap is easiest, but you should tip a dollar or two per bag.

And since I'm stupid...
The Sky cap is the guy at the podium outside the door of the airport? And I give him all my luggage and my flight paperwork? Just don't wanna look stupid when I get there! hahahahaha :confused3

You're not stupid. Remember? You're asking the person who tried to check in twice for the same flight? :)
Yes, that's the SkyCap.
Yes, give him your ID and paperwork; he'll tag your luggage and put it on either a conveyor belt or a luggage cart (it WILL get to your plane!), then give you back what you gave him plus he'll give you your boarding pass. Then you can bypass the line at the counter and head straight for the line at Security.

Thank you so much!! I feel better now!!!
And I won't forget to tip him!!! Thanks!!

Jet Blue is a praticipating airline. Depending on when your flight leaves you may be able to get your BP and check your luggage in your resort.
