I want to go to BOMA for dinner but I'm wondering the lines? There will be 5 of us going at the busy spring break time. What items do you like the best?:goodvibes

We've dined at Boma at least 6 times, maybe more. No matter when we go, the restaurant is packed. The food is set up in pods so you don't have to start at one end and go to the other end. The only section where I've ever seen a wait is at the meat carving station and even then, it's not been this huge line.

My favorite things at Boma are the soups. I'm not a dessert eater but many people on here rave about the desserts.

Boma is one of our favorites. We go every trip, sometimes for breakfast, sometimes for dinner. By lines do you mean to get in & seated, or lines at the buffet? Boma has been full every time we've been there, you'll need an ADR, for sure during Spring Break. We've often waited 10-20 min. for our ADR time. As far as lines at the buffet, I've never been more than 2-3 people deep waiting, and even that's rare. Like the OP said, it's set up in stations & you can walk right up to each one individually.

We love all the stations! I love all the African spices & sauces they offer, and the soups too. I've never been overly impressed with the desserts, but there's soooo many to choose from, everyone will find something!

Boma is a favorite of ours. The carving station is really the only one that we've experienced a wait. We tend to eat light and early for lunch and then make an earlier evening ADR, say 5:30 or so and the crowds have not yet materialized. I happen to love the desserts at Boma, and the soups are wonderful. It's just so nice to try a small amount of so many different types of food, then go back for more of what you loved. Enjoy!

There are some photos from Boma in my TR from January (all the way on the right in my siggie)

My husband loved it, he can't wait to go back again. I thought it was ok, I liked the soup and beef alot!

Boma's if one of our favs. We go almost every time we in WDW. We like to try everything and like the soups, meats, and (for me) the desserts! Yummy!! As others have said the lines for the food are not bad as you do not wait in one big line, there are lines for the salad, soup, meat, deserts, etc. We have always enjoyed Boma's and hope you do too!!

Enjoy The Magic!!

Everything is so good there, even for people who aren't normally adventurous eaters. The coconut curried chicken soup is a favorite. But mostly the food was very normal..just prepared differently. My (tween/teen) kids loved it and loved being able to try small bits of different things.

We like Boma a lot. I know it doesn't sound very sexy, but the soups really are delicious. This isn't exactly Campbell's noodle soup, very flavorful stuff. Many other good things too especially if you're willing to take some (mild) risks. Worst case scenario: They have chocolate chip cookies for dessert. :earsboy:

We dined there back in Dec 2010. While it wasn't a hit for everyone in our group, DD3 LOVED the meatballs they had on the buffet and I was obsessed with this couscous and the kokonut rice they had on the buffet.

We just got back a few weeks ago from our February trip to Disney World. I've reviewed Boma (with pictures) in my Dining Review Thread - link in signature.
