I am planning our only breakfast out at Boma (the rest will be cereal/donuts, etc. in the room). Can anyone tell me what is offered there? I have read the menus here and at allears, but they're pretty vague. I am assuming the standard breakfast fare, but is there anything different (African??) that can't be found at the other buffets? Thanks!

I really haven't seen anything vague about the Boma breakfast menu; it's pretty specific. (Crystal Palace's breakfast menu--now that one's vague.) I haven't eaten there for breakfast, but from what I can read on the menu, there isn't much African at breakfast. The bobotie is a South African dish that is also on the dinner buffet, pap and quinoa wouldn't be common to see on other breakfast buffets, there's probably more tropical fruit than others, and the frunch is a Boma concoction.

It is really good - regular breakfast food like eggs, sausage, bacon, etc. and then some different stuff that's good too. There is plenty of different stuff so you for sure will find something you like. They have that "frunch" juice that is SOOO sweet. That gave me a headache and made me feel weird for a few hours after. I'm not diabetic but I felt weird like that when I had that thick syrup they give you to check glucose tolerance when you are pregnant too so maybe I'm borderline or something. Other than that juice, I loved Boma! And I'm sure some people like the frunch juice but I'm not gonna be having it again!

I love Boma! The had "normal" food like eggs and sausage, but they did have some African specialties too (can't remember the names). The pastries were SO good.

We went at 7:30am and it was EMPTY.

There is a little of everything, TONS of food! Everything is very good. For drinks the pressed pots of coffee are great and they also have an african uice that is very good as well.

we have very picky kids and DH is also a very picky eater and Boma was great !! it has the regular Breakfast food and mixed in with some other goodies ... the fruit was so fresh and yummy. I have to say that we wend to CP and Bomo for Breakfast and although CP was amazing, Boma was our favourite !! The Frunch juice was so good, and I don't remember it being sweet, i would know sweet as we have cut out all refined sugars (except when we're on Vacation)
