Tell me about Boardwalk.

...Title is pretty much self explanitory.


I have tried to do a search for it.. but for some reason (perhaps just because of the stupid new-ish search functon), all I find about is only about Boardwalk resorts.


So..how is Boardwalk? Anything fun to do that's not shopping related?

Is it fun/funner/more boring than DTD?

We love the BW area. There are BW style games, face painting, hair wraps, surrey bikes, strolling entertainment, restaurants, bakery, ice cream/candy shop and other shops. We also like to walk around the lake and visit the other resorts lobbies!

We like to go to DtD, but mostly for shopping. The BW offers differnt things on a smaller scale. DtD is fun too.

I would say there is less to do than at DTD, because it is so much smaller. However, the atmosphere at the Boardwalk is completely different. We just went there for the first time on our March trip, and I fell in love with the whole area from the Beach Club on around to the Boardwalk. It is really cool, pretty, and has some fun performers. And at night, it is soooo beautiful. If you want to take up time and do some shopping, go to DTD. If you want a nice atmosphere and neat experience, go to the Boardwalk.
