Tell me about 90 + 10

Hi All-

The last time I was at WDW they were still doing PS and everything was 90 days in advance. Would someone please explain the new system to me as I need to make my reservations in the next couple of weeks (my trip is in early January).

If you are staying at a Disney resort, you can call on your 90th day out and make all your reservations for up to ten days past your check-in date. Guests at the Dolphin, Swan, SOG, and Downtown Disney hotels and offsite guests are unable to do this. We still have to call each day on our 90th day out.

Great! Thanks! Does this affect DVC resorts at all? I realize they are onsite but wasn't sure if things were different for them.

On Deb's allearsnet site, it says you can make reservations by calling DVC or WDW Dining as long as you have your resort confirmation number. Here's the link. Look under July 2005 for the info http://allearsnet.com/din/restnews.htm

It has also been posted that they do not release 100% of the available tables at the 90 + 10 point. They keep some to release at the exact 90 day point for off site guest availability too. If you are unable to secure an ADR on your first call, call back at exactly the 90th day from the date you wish to make an ADR for. I hope that makes sense.
