Tell me about 1900 Park Fare!

Is this character breakfast buffet or family style? Which characters are present? How is the food and service? Any recent experiences there would be great to hear about!

The meals at Park Fare are seved buffet style and characters that have been showing up recently have been Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh, Tigger, and sometimes some of their friends (Bert and Eeyore I believe have been appearing recenly as well). Here's a link to the menu from wdwig.com.

I love the Buffet at 1900 Park Fare. Each time we have gone (3 times in the last 2 years) we have been pleased with bothe the value and the selection. My Picky kids love the children's buffet and My husband and I have been thrilled with the Grown Up offerings. Our Halloween trip sadly did not include the Villans at dinner, but the chilled Strawberry Soup almost made up for it. The Mussels were excellent, and the Prime Rib was done to perfection. I can't even talk about the desserts, because my mouth is watering just remembering.

I don't know about breakfast but they do have a new dinner buffet there now. It is Cinderella's Royal Gala. It has Cindy, her prince, the evil stepsisters and a couple of mice. I just made my ressies for it today for May. You can do it 120 out from your trip. I can't wait to try it!

It is a buffet, and a wonderful one with terrific selections, as well as a station where they will make your omelets to order.

Which characters are present?
There are different characters at different times, and usually they have which ones will be appearing posted outside the restaurant. When we were there they had Mary Poppins, Bert ( they were in the lobby coloring with the kids), Alice in Wonderland, Pooh and Tigger. Eeyore, Piglet, Mad Hatter have also been known to make appearences. At night they have Cinderella's Grand Gala with Cindy, the Prince, the Fairy Godmother, and 2 of the mice. I have heard that Lady Tremain and the wicked stepsisters may also be added.

How is the food and service? The food was outstanding... no complaints at all. There is also a very nice child's buffet, at childs height with foods that would appeal to them. The adult buffet is huge, with just about anything you would want, all served temperature appropriate. As for the service, it is top notch. All you have to do is just think you need something and it was there. We must have drank a gallon of orange juice each, and our glasses were never less than half full.

Any recent experiences there would be great to hear about! We were just there in October as a party of 5 ranging from 8 years old to 61 years old, and we all had a wonderful time and have sworn to return in the many trips to come! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
